Eli J. Mansour (born 1968) is an Orthodox Sephardic rabbi in Brooklyn, New York. He is one of the leading speakers in the Syrian-Jewish community and the leader of Congregation Bet Yaakob. In early 2011 Congregation Bet Yaakob along with the Edmond J. Safra Philanthropic Foundation announced the ground breaking of a permanent synagogue for the rabbi which will be named The Edmond J. Safra Synagogue of Brooklyn, New York.
Mansour attended Magen David Elementary School and Shaare Torah High School. After studying abroad at Mercaz Hatorah in Israel, he returned to America to study at Ateret Torah of Brooklyn and Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood, New Jersey. He received his smicha (rabbinic ordination) in 1998.[1]
